Hello!

Welcome back...or if this is your first time here, Welcome and glad to have you! :)

I was thinking the other day how much I enjoyed writing, doing crafts, etc...and came up with the conclusion that I was just going to have to do something about it!  And thus, this blogger was formed.

I am hoping in the near future to start posting projects, activities that are going on around in my neighborhood and so forth...and just make this as fun and as informative a blog that it can be.

Starting on the 30th of January, I will be hosting a Pre-Valentine's Day ATART ATHON in a on-line group that I  have joined, back in August 2014.  It is called  ATCsForAll .  The people there are great and very caring and helpful and I have felt like I was "one of the gang" from day one!  So if you get a chance and your interested in art of any kind...it's a good place to check out.

Also in the future, I have a project on the agenda to re-purpose an armoire and convert it into a art supply cabinet.  We live in a small apartment, and although our room is quite big, it is still a little cluttered around my art area even when it is neat and tidy! :D   Imagine how it is when I am creating! lol

Also, I am hoping to add some tidbits here and there, quotes that I feel especially uplifting, Make-up tips for us older ladies...( and younger ones too) I find that a lot of the sites for direction in this category tend to lean towards the younger ladies...where as, I am 51 and when you reach this age...your skin tends to need a different daily routine then when you were 21.

I have a friend that writes some wonderful and beautiful things at times, and I am  hoping with his permission will be able to share some of that with you all here from time to time. ( I am still trying to get him to write a book) So believe me, that is really something to look forward to.

Here is a added tidbit for now, and I hope to be back tomorrow with more and in the future will be adding some video ( instruction) to some of the crafts I do.

1. My interpretation of a "Mandrake root" ( I do not normally draw, new to me, so bare with me! :D )

Number 2 and 3: A gnome I drew for a ATC ( Artist Trading Card) for someone in the group, and the second one there is a altered picture I did of a snow Queen...I do not know the original artist or I would give credit where credit is due. :)

Stay tuned...stay well...and above all...stay happy!
